2. Thor Gets Run Over... Again (Thor)

When Thor first arrived on Earth (or "Midgard", as he and his fellow Asgardians prefer to call it), having been cast out of Asgard by his father - the King of the realm, Odin - for irresponsible behaviour, he landed in the New Mexico desert in the dark and was immediately knocked over by Jane Foster, Darcy Lewis and Erik Selvig as they drove through whilst researching. Despite being stripped of his powers prior to being cast out of Asgard, he survived the impact almost unscathed, but was tasered by Darcy when his seemingly insane ramblings disturbed her. He would later wake up in hospital. After taking offence at the doctor's attempts to take blood from him, Thor fought his way out of the hospital and, despite his earlier run-in with their car, walks straight in front of Darcy, Jane and Selvig again, getting knocked over for a second time in his first few hours on Earth.
