10 Marvel Cinematic Universe Theories Better Than What's In The Movies

This is a weird one as it has a basis in both fact and fiction. It all started with a rumour shared by Latino-Review claiming that Iron Man 3's post-credits scene would feature Iron Man blasting off into outer space to investigate Thanos' earlier attack on Earth.

Now, if you remember that site, you'll no doubt recall that their "scoops" were unreliable to say the least, but fans took this and came up with some undeniably awesome theories.

For starters, it was suggested that Iron Man would run into the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Tony Stark meeting Rocket and company in 2014 would have changed the MCU as we know it. Fans believed the Avenger would join the group during their first adventure and bring them back to Earth for a confrontation with the Thanos-controlled Ultron.

Yes, it would have been all a bit convoluted, but Iron Man blasting through space and hanging out with the Guardians would have been amazing to see. Instead, we had to wait until 2018's Avengers: Infinity War for this meeting to take place.
