10 Marvel Cinematic Universe Villains Who Need To Make A Comeback
4. Abomination
Appeared In: The Incredible Hulk. Like Sam Rockwell, Tim Roth has gone on record saying that he wouldn't mind stepping back into Emil Blonsky's shoes for another outing in the MCU. In fact, mere months before Age of Ultron's release, the actor even mentioned that Abomination had been considered to appear in it before it was decided otherwise. Abomination is one of the few major villains of the MCU who managed to survive the other end of the film he appeared in, and the One-Shot "The Consultant" revealed that Tony Stark's conversation with General Ross in The Incredible Hulk was actually meant to keep Ross from allowing Blonsky to take part in the Avengers Initiative. The last update fans received on his status was halfway through the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., where it was revealed he was, unsurprisingly, still in captivity, held in a cryocell in Alaska. S.H.I.E.L.D. fell not long after, so it's possible that Blonsky could now be with HYDRA, free, or any other option. Should the Masters of Evil ever form or if Marvel is just looking to drop in a surprise cameo, Abomination should be called upon to return, especially with General Ross' inclusion in Civil War suggesting that The Incredible Hulk's days as the outcast film of the MCU might finally be over.
