1. The Joker
Who wouldn't watch a Joker movie? The Joker is one of, if not the most popular character(s) in comic book history and he has stolen the show in his previous movie appearances (with Heath Ledger winning a posthumous Academy Award for his performance as Gotham's clown prince, nonetheless), so a movie in which he is the star would be most welcome. The character has rarely been seen in his pre-Joker years, so watching the moment he got his facial scars and seeing his descent in to madness would make for one hell of a movie. There are so many fascinating stories to use - Joker is chiefly responsible for some of the most devastating events in Batman's life. He murdered Jason Todd (the second Robin) and crippled Commissioner Gordon's daughter Barbara (whom Batman was very close to), putting her in a wheelchair. Although he is Batman's arch-nemesis, the two need each other, and he is every bit as important a character as the caped crusader himself, so why shouldn't he get the same titular movie treatment? They were ten villains from Marvel and DC Comics who deserve their own movie. Do you agree? Do you think there should have been some Spider-Man villains on the list (I bet you do!
