10 Marvel Heroes That Could Join The Avengers After Infinity War

1. Wonder Man

Simon Williams has actually already featured in the MCU, with Nathan Fillion having performed the part in a manner of trailers, posters, and other in-universe paraphernalia to be featured in the recent Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, so he's more a likely appearance than most might've previously suspected.

In the comics, Williams - much like his MCU counterpart - was a trained stuntman and actor. He was, however, also transformed by the villainous Enchantress into a hero to infiltrate The Avengers. The plan was that he'd double-cross them, allowing the Masters of Evil time to pick their foes off, but Wonder Man would not relent to the pressure. Indeed, after a brief flirtation with death the character returned and became a full-time superhero, gaining full Avengers membership in the process.

He's the perfect character for the impending Avengers-Guardians mishmash to use, and, with Fillion having gone on record saying he's hopeful to reprise the role in the future, there could be hope for this energy-based hero getting a fully-blown appearance later down the line. James Gunn admits that he's a fan - that much is true - and, while the campaign to get Fillion in pretty much everything ever continues, it would be nice to see it succeed one day, especially since Wonder Man is a great character in his own right.
