10 Marvel Heroes That Could Join The Avengers After Infinity War

3. Kate Bishop (Hawkeye)

Though we may all love Clint (or not, if you like to base your character preferences on their powers alone), it's likely that his time as an Avenger isn't going to continue past the next two Avengers films. Every team needs an archer however, and luckily for The Avengers, Kate Bishop is available.

Hawkeye's successor and friend, Kate really made a name for herself during Matt Fraction and David Aja's amazing run on the character, and teamed up with the erstwhile Avenger as he did normal, everyday things in his local New York neighbourhood. It was a sharp, compassionate and funny series, and gives plenty of reason behind the calls for Kate to take a role in the MCU.

While the addition of another Hawkeye would, admittedly, feel slightly left field, it makes plenty of sense in the long run. Indeed, if Renner could be convinced, a Netflix series focusing on the duo would be a surefire recipe for success, especially if Kate did end up taking her place on the actual Avengers lineup.

It's unlikely that he'll be getting killed off, after all (Age of Ultron teased that particular plot point way too frequently), but it would be nice to see the character retire after one last cosmic outing with a nice passing of the mantle.
