10 Marvel Superheroes For Phase 4 (And Who Should Play Them)

1. Blade - Wesley Snipes

Yes, Blade: Trinity was awful, but it€™s time to give Wesley Snipes another shot as Blade. As long as he can find a happy working relationship with whatever team Marvel chose to put around him, there€™s no reason a film about a half-human/half-vampire hybrid protecting mankind from bloodsucking threats couldn€™t work within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Indeed, the MCU already has superheroes, extra-terrestrials and the quantum realm. It€™s already a weird place, and it€™s only going to get stranger with the introduction of Benedict Cumberbatch€™s Doctor Strange in 2016. Surely there€™s room to squeeze vampires into this ever-expanding universe, too? Wesley Snipes certainly thinks so. He€™s recently said that €œconversations have been good€ between his people and Marvel€™s people. €œThey see the value in it. We see the value in it€ I€™m still in shape enough and fit enough to handle the role.€ This one could either be a Netflix series or a film relaunch, with the former seeming more likely than the latter. No one but Snipes could play the role, but it will probably take until Phase 4 for Marvel to find room in their slate. Which heroes do you want to see join the MCU? Let us know in the comments€
