8. Demolition Man - Arnie For President
A prediction that nobody could have thought to have predicted surely? A muscle-bound Austrian action star with a less than flawless personality and track record becoming the President of the United States? Well, that's a fairly decent character reference for a President, but hardly the point. In the 1993 Sylvester Stallone movie Demolition Man there was a cheeky reference to Arnold Schwarzenegger becoming the President at some point in the future. This was one of a series of ongoing "joke" references between Stallone and Schwarzenegger - others appeared in Tango and Cash, Twins, Last Action Hero among more - which seemed like just an innocent joke, until Arnie became Governor of California. It seemed a scary, albeit massively outside possibility all of a sudden. Luckily, Arnie Terminated his own political career in tremendous Arnie style, so that will now never likely come to pass. Anyway, how do you top "Governator"? Got it, "Commando in Chief!"
