10 MCU Characters Killed Off Way Too Early

Of all the entries on this list, this character is the one that enjoyed the least screen time, despite being a goldmine of unexplored potential.

In the comics, Baron Wolfgang von Strucker is a high ranking member of Hydra during World War II and an archenemy of Captain America (of course, the MCU version has him in the present day). In Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Avengers storm his Sokovia base, taking back Loki's Chitauri sceptre and imprisoning Strucker.

If that wasn't a brief enough role, Strucker is later seen dead in his prison cell, killed by Ultron in order to send a message to the Avengers. And that's the last he's ever seen or even mentioned.

The TV series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., introduced the character of Werner von Strucker, Wolfgang's son, and a younger version of Wolfgang himself appeared in a flashback. Given that he seems to have more relevance in this TV show than in the film he actually appears in, killing Strucker off so quickly and anti-climactically truly feels like a missed opportunity.
