10 MCU Characters Who Are Skipping Infinity War

The Taika Waititi-voiced Korg was a surprise highlight of Thor: Ragnarok, adding earnest humour to the sequel. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has confirmed that they have future plans for the Kronan and his sidekick Miek, but they don't seem to include a role in Avengers: Infinity War.

Given that Korg was on board the spacecraft which ferried refugees from Asgard at the end of Ragnarok, his apparent absence begs the question of what happens to him between that post-credits sequence and Thanos's invasion. The plot thickens when you consider that Thor, Loki, Hulk and Valkyrie - a cluster of characters who will appear in Infinity War - were also on the ship.

Waititi, of course, could have filmed a brief cameo for Infinity War and has thus far gone uncredited, but this doesn't seem like the kind of thing Marvel would keep under wraps. It's not as though Korg's involvement would be a massive plot twist.

It's unclear what will become of those Asgardian refugees, but having Thanos wipe them out feels too dark for the MCU, plus Feige's comments about further outings for Korg and Miek suggests the aforementioned foursome won't be the only survivors.
