10 MCU Characters Who Are Skipping Infinity War

Like Korg, Idris Elba's Heimdall is a glaring omission from the Infinity War cast list and his apparent absence throws up a bunch of questions. The watchful Asgardian was also on board the spaceship transporting the survivors of Hela's wrath to safety.

Given that both him and the Kronan seem to be missing in action, it doesn't bode well for everyone on board that vessel whose name isn't Hulk, Loki, Thor or Valkyrie.

This is where Thor's vision from Avengers: Age of Ultron - in which a blind Heimdall tells the thunder god he led them all to Hel - could come into play. Was this dream sequence warning the son of Odin about an incident involving Thanos?

As previously stated, killing off what's basically the entire population of Asgard in one fell swoop feels too dark for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but perhaps Thanos takes them captive before banishing them to Hel. Could Ragnarok villain Hela be in league with the Mad Titan as Infinity War's personification of death?

Cate Blanchett isn't among the confirmed cast list for Avengers 3 either, and as far as anyone knows, her character died when Asgard was destroyed, but Marvel could be planning to keep her involvement under wraps.
