10 MCU Filming Locations You Must Visit In Europe
5. Edinburgh, Scotland (Avengers: Infinity War)
Back to Scotland, this time we head to the capital, Edinburgh. The Scottish capital was used in the first half of Avengers: Infinity War. While Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy were in Space and a host of superheroes were in New York, we then turned our attention to here.
This was used as the location for Scarlett Witch and Vision's hideaway, following the events of Captain America: Civil War. The pair were first seen in a luxurious apartment, which was filmed on Cockburn Street.
This scene was followed by the duo encountering Thanos' henchmen, Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive. The fight sequence was taken across Edinburgh's city centre. Most notably, the scenes focused on certain landmarks as backdrops for the battle, including Royal Mile and St Giles' Cathedral.
The fight resulted in Vision and Corvus Glaive smashing through Waverley Station's windows, just before Captain America, Black Widow and Falcon stop Thanos' best warriors extracting the Mind Stone.
Fortunately, these filming locations can be found in close proximity to each other, so you can experience these places used in Infinity War with ease.
