10 MCU Mistakes You Can NEVER Unsee
7. The Vanishing Man (Ant-Man And The Wasp)
For a film where both the lead heroes and the lead villain have powers that make them difficult to see, this mistake is at least consistent with that theme.
Early on in 2018's Ant-Man And The Wasp, there's a fight sequence that takes place in a hotel lobby, with a suited-and-booted Hope van Dyne squaring off against the mysterious, unstable entity known as the Ghost.
During this scene, we can clearly see the body of an unconscious thug - a thug that Hope had previously battered - lying in front of a piano in the background (above). But for some strange reason, this body continuously disappears and reappears throughout the fight sequence (below), creating a glaring continuity error that's ridiculously easy to spot, even at full speed.
Fight scenes like this can take several days to shoot, so this is probably just a case of people turning up to work in the morning, and forgetting the exact layout of the room from the day before.
Or, maybe this guy was just fed up of lying on that cold, hard surface for hours at a time. It's hardly a memorable role, is it?
