10 MCU Mistakes You Can NEVER Unsee

8. Shape-Shifting Cockpit (Captain Marvel)

The CGI during the final battle in Captain Marvel left a lot to be desired, but even before that battle begins, there's a moment where the movie presents us with some questionable visuals, to put it politely.

When Captain Marvel lands on top of Yon-Rogg's ship at the one hour and 38 minute mark, we can see that his spacecraft is surrounded by a glass cover, one that's clearly modelled in the shape of a dome (above).

After this shot, we get a quick look at Yon-Rogg's miffed expression, and when the scene cuts back to that exterior cockpit view, the shape of the glass cover has, somehow, completely changed (below).

It's now got more of an angle to it, as opposed to the rounded circle we saw in that first shot. Weird, right? This is another mistake that a helpful Redditor posted in video form, so here it is if you want to check it out in motion.

You would assume that both of these shots were recorded on the same day with the same cockpit prop, but maybe that wasn't the case. Alternatively, perhaps the second shot required more CGI work due to Captain Marvel activating her powers, which meant that the shape of the dome changed in post-production.

Either way... weird.
