7. The Stolen Ant-Man Technology
Near the end of Ant-Man, the villainous Darren Cross sets up a meeting between himself and a few potential buyers in order to sell off the Ant-Man technology for a high price.
Before he can strike a deal, Scott Lang - in his Ant-Man suit - disrupts proceedings, incapacitating most of the men in the room before tending to the wounded Hank Pym.
While Scott's busy, Mitchell Carson (who was hiding in a corner) snatches a vial of yellow particles, the stuff that enables the shrinking technology to function.
The thing is, all the buyers in the room were bad guys. Some were members of the Ten Rings organisation (led by the real Mandarin) as indicated by the tattoos on their necks, and others were Hydra operatives.
Carson fell in the latter camp, and since he was able to steal that vial, Hydra is now in possession of the Ant-Man technology. So what have they been doing with it all this time?
This is a big, big deal - the Ant-Man tech could be devastating if used by the wrong people - so it seems odd that Hydra hasn't yet made its move, whether that's an attack on the Avengers or just a spot of run-of-the-mill terrorism.
Yes, the organisation was publicly exposed in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but Hydra still very much exists, and now they've got an incredibly powerful weapon to further their evil exploits. So why not use it?
