10 MCU Scenes Everyone Wishes They Could Unsee
9. The Hideous T'Challa/Killmonger CGI Fight - Black Panther
Black Panther is such a fantastically singular MCU movie that it's a shame it ends up devolving into a revolting mess of atrocious CGI during the final hyperloop battle between T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) and Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan).
The MCU has never looked more like a video game than in this scene, where the two Black Panthers weightlessly fly around and punch each other in a mass of garish digital blurs where we're never convinced we're actually looking at two people fighting.
The entire scene has a very early 2000s superhero movie feel to it, which is especially disappointing considering how visually dynamic the rest of the movie's set-pieces are.
VFX artists who worked on the movie have since stated that the final battle was severely compromised by tight production deadlines and Marvel's refusal to move the release date back, seemingly feeling that this sub-par work was "good enough."
And while it didn't stop the movie grossing over $1.3 billion worldwide, years later it's still held up as perhaps the single most inept - and certainly the most disappointing - action sequence in the entire MCU.
