As well as being one of Marvel's most iconic weapons, the mythological history behind the fabled enchanted war hammer Mjolnir is particularly interesting with only those deemed worthy being able to wield its power.

So, ever since Captain America managed to slightly budge it during the party scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron, MCU fans have been waiting for Cap to carry it with him into battle. Thankfully, this waiting paid off during Avengers: Endgame.

However, during the AMAA, Feige confirmed the popular fan theory that he had, in fact, always been worthy, but chose to avoid it to preserve Thor's pride as the rightful owner of the hammer.

Whilst this isn't a particularly explosive revelation, it is a nice addition to Captain America's legacy as the Avenger's most incorruptible and upstanding member.
