10 Mediocre Movies That Actually Deserve Sequels

3. The Incredible Hulk (2008)

edward-norton-hulk-playlist Hulk movies have proven extremely difficult to make, presumably because Bruce Banner's alter ego is a "big green rage monster," and is subject to fits of manic destruction that audiences find somewhat hard to relate to. Also he can't talk when he transforms, and it's tough to humanise somebody like that. The Incredible Hulk - which starred Edward Norton as the famous comic book hero - wasn't exactly bad, but it wasn't a particularly memorable movie either. I'm still convinced, though, that The Incredible Hulk deserves a sequel - this time with the far more likeable Mark Ruffalo in the leading role. As witnessed in The Avengers, he's probably the best and most appropriate incarnation of Bruce Banner that we've ever had, and it'd be entirely possible to make a movie with him in charge of proceedings - especially if the Hulk (as established now, anyway) can control himself a little better. The inherent problems of a Hulk adaptation remain, of course, but Ruffalo is the best shot Marvel have got at pulling it off. So let's do it.
