10 Michael Keaton Movies You've Never Even Heard Of

1. Quicksand

What is it?: Keaton. Caine. It should have been a contender! Instead it was a nothing. The top spot in this little-known catalogue of Keaton is taken by an overcooked European thriller, and none other than fellow Oscar nominee Michael Caine joined him for the bumpy ride. The plot concerned corruption on the set of an action movie in Monaco. Sporting a pair of cool sunglasses, Keaton played a smooth-operating, charismatic... err, bank investigator. Even more bizarrely his co-star's character was a big screen tough guy (at 70!). It was par for the course for Caine to front a stinker - he's possibly the industry's most famous jobbing actor. For every Ipcress File under his belt there's a Jaws: The Revenge, or a Get Carter (and I'm talking the Stallone remake here, in which Caine showed his face). Keaton on the other hand had made some wrong moves, but a straight-to-DVD effort? A worrying development indeed. The title proved more than apt, as this paltry production sank without trace. Do you agree with this list? Are these Michael Keaton movies obscure enough, or do you think others should have been included? Let us know in the comments section.
