I'm Thinking of Ending Things follows a young woman meeting her boyfriend's parents for the first time, despite her intentions to end their relationship. This visit leads to an array of existential dread and odd occurrences.

The film takes surrealism to the max, as the focus is less on telling a cohesive narrative and instead more about exploring a bizarre and metaphoric structure.
