2. Hospital Security Team Face/Off
Heres a question if your hospital is playing host to the one of the worlds most dangerous men, would you guard him? Ill ask another question if this man has been pulled into further insanity by actively having his face flayed off, wouldnt you be even more committed to guarding him? If you answered yes to both these questions, then congratulations youve got a better concept of security than Face/Offs high-security hospital. How Castor Troy manages to make his way to the facelift machine is so bizarre that it actually had be screaming about realism in a film about John Travolta transforming into Nicolas Cage to storm an ultra-super prison. I understand that Troy is a resourceful bloke, but being able to avoid the spotlight inside an establishment thats fully aware of his presence and has him wired up to several machines all while battling the shock of losing his own face, being off his face on anesthetic and suffering is so insane that its positively baffling. All it would have taken was two guards outside the door and the whole second/third act wouldnt have happened. Again, Im aware Troys a formidable villain, but in his current state, I wouldnt even fancy his chances against the common cold, never mind two highly trained operatives. Yet thanks to some supervisory screw-up, this is ruined for everyone.
