When the aforementioned Boba Fett was given his own spin-off series on Disney+, that show finally revealed precisely how this iconic bounty hunter managed to survive one of the worst fates imaginable: death by sarlacc.

After being swallowed by that creature during Luke Skywalker and the gang's Han Solo rescue mission in Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, the son of Jango was ultimately seen doing all he could to keep from being digested.

As he struggled to breathe, it was here when he noticed another unlucky soul who wasn't able to find a way out of one of the sarlacc's many stomachs.

At some point an Imperial stormtrooper wandering around in the desert evidently either fell or was tossed into this particular pit of doom, with this Empire soldier then finding themselves in the middle of a nasty digestion process that takes a whopping one thousand years.

While they may not have been able to escape this horrifying fate, though, their death meant they had no use for their air tube.

So, Fett pulled it out, took in a deep breath and proceeded to burn his way out of trouble, kicking off a new chapter in his life that would eventually see him becoming Mos Espa's new Daimyo.

And it was all thanks to that slowly dissolving trooper.
