10 Minor Star Wars Characters Who Suffered Horrific Fates

As this list has highlighted a number of times already, the moment a character finds themselves within the giant slug gangster Jabba's palace, a rather harrowing fate is often inevitable.

And it's not just those various humans and aliens who walked through those giant mechanical doors who often ended up suffering. Even droids had a bad time of it once they were rolled and/or forced into the Hutt's gaff.

Take those numerous minor robotic characters seen in the background after R2-D2 and C-3PO were handed over to Jabba as gifts and thrown into his droid pool in Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. 

For whatever reason, a squirming GNK droid wound up being horrifically burned by a hot iron as another droid known as 8D8 followed the cold EV-9D9's orders to torture it.

Then there was Jabba's last protocol droid, Eightyem, an interpreter who pissed off the crime lord and was ultimately disintegrated and tortured right in front of the Hutt's next protocol assistant Threepio's mortified eyes.
