10 Mistakes Marvel Need To Avoid With Black Widow
5. The Team-Ups
The Mistake: Marvel's roster is packed with so many likeable and established characters that they can pretty much throw anyone of them into any movie they like. That's sort of a good and bad thing.
While the overblown cast worked surprisingly well in Captain America: Civil War, there's danger of Marvel relying too much on team-ups and cameos. Already Hulk will join Thor in his third film, Tony Stark will show up in Spider-Man. and Bucky might feature into Black Panther.
Pretty soon solo movies won't be a thing.
The Solution: Leave the rest of the team at home. Have the courage to let one of your heroes stand on their own without an A-lister to add some name recognition.
This movie needs to be small and contained with personal stakes at the centre. As badass as Black Widow is, she wouldn't be the first one Nick Fury calls to save the world so this needs to be something that only she can handle.
Plus, no one is screaming for more Hawkeye.
