10 Moments When Comic Book Movie Villains Were Totally Humiliated
6. Scarecrow Tased In The Face By Rachel Dawes (Batman Begins)
Doctor Jonathan Crane is quite a menacing presence when looked at through the fear toxin... but when his opponents are inoculated against his signature weapon, he can find himself at a loss, physically. This is first evident when Batman captures him and places him in Arkham Asylum, but that is a relatively minor embarrassment compared to what happened after his escape. Once Jonathan Crane - now donning his full "Scarecrow" alter ego - is released from the Asylum, he rampages across the streets of Gotham, riding the horse of a fallen riot policeman. During the chaos, he attacks Rachel Dawes and a young Prince Joffrey only to find himself struck in the face with Rachel's taser, and carried off into the night by his horse, all the while wailing at the top of this lungs. He managed to effectively evade capture afterward, but this can't have been good for his reputation as one of Gotham City's foremost theatrical master criminals.
