4. Loki Trapped Under Mjolnir (Thor)
In the realm of Asgard, there are fewer more intelligent beings than Loki, god of mischief. The first Thor film features him manipulating his way through all of his peers, eventually securing a spot upon Odin's throne through his own trickery and deception, despite also suffering from Daddy issues at the same time. There is only one hitch in Loki taking control of Asgard - his physically superior foster brother. All things considered, Loki stood his ground rather well while fighting his hammer-wielding counterpart - mostly through using illusions and his other magical skills. However, in the end he wasn't quite a match for the sheer weight of his brother's hammer, Mjolnir. It was all Thor needed to get him to lie still. This was far from the last time Loki was embarrassed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it established a precedent for him being shown and humiliated when physically outmatched.
