9. Martin Starr
In Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far from Home, Martin Starr plays Peter Parker's coach, Roger Harrington. Although many assume Starr first appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming, he's actually been a part of the franchise for over a decade.
In The Incredible Hulk, Starr... err... starred as the campus techie that Bruce Banner bribes to gain access to a specific computer.
Even though this character appears for a second, it's significant since Starr is meant to be portraying Amadeus Cho, who became the Incredible Hulk's successor in the comics, the Totally Awesome Hulk. Although he's credited as Computer Nerd, he is referred to as Amadeus Cho in the novelisation.
When it was made official that Starr would appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming, some fans suspected the studio was preparing to set up his character as the new Hulk. But when it was officially announced Starr would be playing a completely different character, these rumours were dashed.
Nevertheless, it's very likely Cho will make an appearance at some point (especially with She-Hulk looming forward). However, it's a safe bet the superhero will be played by someone besides Martin Starr.
