10 More Best Non-Final Girls In Horror Movies

6. Kay-Em 14 - Jason X

Jason X Kay-Em 14
New Line Cinema

Your writer will forever die on the hill that Jason X is a damn fun movie, though I'm also fully aware that there's a certain section of horror fandom that thinks the film is utter trash. And that's fine, but even the naysayers can't deny how badass a character Lisa Ryder's Kay-Em 14 is.

Having been cryogenically frozen, Jason Voorhees awakens on a spaceship in the year 2463. That in itself is quite the sentence, but Jason X is at least fully aware of how daft its premise is, and the film fully leans into the cheese of this entire situation - as highlighted perfectly by Kay-Em 14, an ass-kicking android.

After receiving an upgrade midway through Jason X, this android becomes more than a match for Voorhees, beating the piss out of Crystal Lake's most infamous son and shooting off his arms, legs, and head.

Of course, Jason's remains conveniently fall into a future tech machine which turns him into Uber Jason, meaning he's a cyborg rather than a taxi driver. Now complete with his own upgrade, Jason easily betters Kay-Em 14 in their next meeting, punching her head off in similar fashion to poor Jules in Jason Takes Manhattan.

Still, by the end of Jason X, Kay-Em 14's still functioning head is promised a new body from her lover Tsunaron. Yeah, Jason X is quite the unique trip...
