Arriving in theatres the same year as the final prequel, the terrific animated adventure that is Robots just so happened to include a little moment involving arguably the most famous Star Wars character ever.

The gang of outdated bots known as the "Rusties" end up in a shop trying to get their pal Fender Pinwheeler (Robin Williams) fixed. After our hero Rodney Copperbottom (Obi-Wan himself, Ewan McGregor) claims he can repair the broken droid, though, a rather familiar sounding voice box is picked up by little Diesel Springer.

In the booming voice of the Darth Vader, the bot declares "the Force is strong with this one!"

This wasn't merely a case of an actor doing a 'Chosen One' impression either, folks.

The late legend that is James Earl Jones very much voiced the character for this brief but hugely satisfying moment as Diesel's face changed into looking like the cyborg Sith Lord's menacing mask for a couple of magnificent seconds.
