Just when you thought it was physically impossible to create a movie more disturbing and horrifying than the one Zach Cregger managed to creepily piece together last year, it turns out that Barbarian very nearly came equipped with yet another entirely chilling moment.

Whilst bringing rather horrendous piece of work AJ to life throughout the making of the hit horror thriller, Justin Long would note that there was actually another nightmarish sequence he shot involving the unsettling Mother that didn't manage to make the final cut.

The scene, one Long himself admitted "took it to another level", would've involved a terrified AJ trying to resist his captor. And this fighting against Mother would then lead to her biting the head off a nearby rat before chewing and attempting to "baby bird it" into her new baby's mouth.

Said effect was achieved with warm, "bloody" prosciutto, leaving the actor understandably wincing at the thought of ever eating the meat again. Hilariously, though, later that evening, Long did precisely that when chowing down on a prosciutto-filled panini, claiming he simply "couldn't help it."

Hopefully he consumed it the traditional way, this time around...
