6. Eat the School Girl: Osaka Telephone Club (1997)
Perhaps no country can boast such an endless wealth of highly sick and depraved films as Japan. Eat the School Girl: Osaka Telephone Club is a bit of a misnomer as there are no school girls nor any scenes of cannibalism in the film. It doesn't stop the whole affair from being one of the most depraved things ever committed to celluloid. There are two sick freaks that work for the Yakuza who are making snuff movies. One is a nerd and the other one is obsessed with phone sex lines. An angel with no wings appears and tells him to go on a murder spree. He then proceeds to go out and kill young women whilst dressed as a school girl. After he eviscerates them, he ejaculates in their wounds. Along the way the director puts in enough sick stuff to keep perverts amused - a nasty, forced, enema expulsion scene, the vicious rape and sexual degradation of women and tons of bloody mayhem and violence. This film is deeply weird. The plot is messy and incoherent but it plays like a straight film. The gore is made on a small budget but it is nasty and seedy - it really packs a punch. But no matter how lacking the plot is, the viewer watches on, hypnotised by the visuals. If it had a decent plot. One wonders how much more of an impact Eat the School Girl could have had.
