10 MORE Dumbest Decisions In Horror Movies

6. Driving Whilst High - Hereditary

We all know that drunk driving is a big no-no. We all know that drug driving is a big no-no. Surely, we'd all know that both drunk and drug driving should be the ultimate no-goer then, but not Peter - who gets behind the wheel of his mom's car after a phat zoot and some drinks at a party to drive his suffocating sister to the hospital.

Fair enough, Peter's situation is a dire one and requires some quick thinking, something that a bunch of teenagers at a party might not be particularly in abundance of - but why he didn't just ask for an epipen (which is common enough in a group of so many people) or ring an ambulance rather than attempt to get her out of there himself is a choice that has some serious consequences.

Losing his head in the heat of the moment results in Charlie actually losing hers to an errant lamppost whilst she's hanging out the window, and things only get worse from then on.

Be cool, stay in school kids, if Ari Aster is teaching us anything - it's to just say no to drugs. And peanut cake. The worst of all the cakes.
