7. Munich (2005)
Steven Spielberg's historic about the Munich massacre during the 1972 Summer Olympics, and the assassinations that followed is possibly the directors darkest effort to date since
Schindlers List. It gambles with many issues and themes, particularly on the Israeli and Palestinian conflict, and while it doesnt seem to even attempt to solve any of them, it is enough to make one understand the emotional toll the conflict has on both sides, no matter what your political or religious views are. The film features all-around great performances from the likes of Eric Bana, Geoffrey Rush, and Daniel Craig, among others.
