2. Linnea Quigley

If Jamie Lee Curtis is the "Hollywood" Scream Queen with 11 and counting horror appearances, then Linnea Quigley unquestionably reigns supreme as the ultimate B-Movie Scream Queen.

Since Linnea has appeared in an incredible 64 genre projects, it would be impossible to list them all in this short entry, so let's focus on some of her most well known and sizeable roles.

Quigley's first significant genre role would be the incredibly confused cannibal-drama Don't Go Near the Park in 1980. The following year she'd be a stand-out addition to the cast of the ridiculously cheesy slasher Graduation Day.

In 1984, Quigley tackled a much more serious role in Savage Streets playing Heather, a naive deaf-mute who is cruelly raped and beaten by gang members. That same year she rose to mainstream attention with her performance as Trash in the cult-classic zombie comedy Return of the Living Dead.

In the late 80s, Quigley would churn out the unstoppable slew of horror titles that she remains most closely associated. Among these offerings were 1987's Creepazoids, 1988's Night of the Demons, 1989's Witchtrap, and the wonderfully titled Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama.

To this day Quigley's genre output remains strong as she lends her name to indie projects, conventions and home media releases of her most notable works. However, we'd love to see her on the big screen again.

Hi! The first thing you should know about me is that I'm a HUGE horror movie nut. A confirmed addict to the WhatCulture Horror YouTube channel I thought I'd try my luck on their writing team. I'm a wannabe author with one completed manuscript submitted to a few agents. Please cross your fingers for me! I am currently working on my second book. If you wanna talk horror or need any movie recommendations, I'm your man! Give me a follow on Instagram... since there doesn't seem to be a section for that in the "socials" tab @that_horror_nerd
