The Megan Fox-starring horror-comedy Jennifer's Body has enjoyed a significant re-evaluation in recent years, especially in light of the #MeToo Movement, revolving as it does around a young woman, Jennifer (Fox), who becomes demonically possessed after an indie rock band sacrifices her to Satan in exchange for fame and fortune.
So to be clear, Jennifer is first and foremost a victim who didn't ask to be turned into a succubus who must feed on human flesh in order to survive. And had she stopped at just getting revenge on Low Shoulder, the band who sacrificed her, it'd be easy to cheer her on all the way to the end credits.
But considering that her bloodlust drives her to kill numerous local boys under the guise of making out with them, there certainly comes a turning point where that sympathy evaporates, and the audience is instead compelled to cheer on her best pal Needy (Amanda Seyfried) to finish Jennifer off, as she eventually does.
