No one asked for a sequel to the original 1985 movie House, but they got one anyway. Was it well received? No, it wasn't. Is it still worth watching? Absolutely!

The "creatively" titled House II: The Second Story is a standalone sequel to the first film. It follows two guys who accidentally revive their ancestor after visiting a family mansion. From there, they join forces to visit an array of historical periods through time portals throughout the house.

As you might be able to infer from that strange plot, it delves far more into comedy than its predecessor.

Anyone who hates this movie is no fun at parties, as there's so much joy and irreverence in the goofy-as-hell horror comedy. It is so bonkers that it's impossible not to have a good time with it.

Now, some might argue that the movie's family-friendly tone and reliance on cuteness massively detract from the horror. While that is quite accurate, there's nothing wrong with enjoying a light-hearted romp with some scares packed in.

Plus, it has a caterpillar puppy in it. That's right, a caterpuppy! How can you not love that?!
