10 More Most Unintentionally Hilarious Movie Deaths

1. Blood On The Dance Floor - Ghost Ship

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbSjSIY0Zkk Possibly the single most macabre, hilarious opening scene of any horror movie anywhere, Ghost Ship (2002) features the doomed attempts to salvage the Antonia Graza, an Italian ocean liner thought lost at sea forty years before. It€™s an okay movie €“ worth watching, but only the once. The problem with the film is that director Steve Beck hits the big time with the first five minutes, before the title even comes up. The rest of the film can€™t help but be an anti-climax. It€™s summer 1962, and dozens of the richest people that Europe has to offer are sailing aboard the Antonia Graza. Dancing on the deck of the ship and having a marvellous old time, the poor fools don€™t realise that a sinister hand has messed with the ship€™s cargo crane, causing razor sharp wire to unspool and ping its way towards them. Snapping to pull taut across the dance floor at waist, chest and shoulder height, the wire neatly cuts the entire complement of passengers in half in one twanging bloody movement. It€™s the slow motion that does it€ the victims standing there, frozen, for what seems like an eternity, until blood begin to drip and to spurt, and severed bits begin to fall to the ground. The only one spared is the little girl, just invited to dance by the ship€™s captain, who€™s just short enough to escape savage wiry death. Sadly, the film never reaches this level of grand guignol brilliance again. What€™s your favourite unintentionally hilarious death scene in the movies? Tell us all about it in the comments!
