10 More Movie Scenes Shot For Real
6. Skyfall - Fighting On A Train
Sam Mendes' universally acclaimed Skyfall is by no means a film completely void of CGI; one quick glance at Daniel Craig's mitts in the film's Komodo dragon fight sequence confirms as much.
Yet, it may come as a bit of a surprise to hear that one of the film's most spectacular sequences didn't actually lean as heavily on digital assistance as you'd imagine. As Bond throws down with a mercenary on top of a speeding train, Eve Moneypenny attempts to pick off the enemy with a sniper rifle; a move which results in 007 going for an abrupt swim after a dizzying tumble off a bridge.
Not one to shy away from getting his hands dirty for the role, Craig could very much be found clambering over a digger, jumping onto the back of a half-torn-off carriage, and even throwing down on top of the moving vehicle whilst shooting the captivating scene. With all that in mind, it's little wonder the Brit wants to hang up the 007 mantle in the wake of No Time to Die.
There's surely safer and much less terrifying ways to earn a paycheque than being battered on top of a rickety train.
