6. The God Of Thunder's Mighty CGI Patch - Thor: Ragnarok/Avengers: Infinity War
During the events of Taika Waititi's colourful hit Thor: Ragnarok, the God of Thunder loses an eye as he clashes with his Goddess of Death sister, Hela.
From there - and for much of the epic that was the Russo Brothers' Avengers: Infinity War - Thor can be found wearing a pretty cool eye patch as he interacts with the likes of the Mad Titan and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The patch looks so legit throughout these flicks that fans didn't have any reason to believe this wasn't a practical eye cover attached to Chris Hemsworth's face. But the Australian sensation would soon reveal to CinemaBlend that this patch was actually a fully digital piece.
That's right! After attempting to move around set with a practical version of the item, the fact it kept falling off resulted in the Ragnarok team going for a CGI alternative instead.
Hemsworth was understandably over the moon about his new digital piece of costume. And the visual effects team behind the CGI patch did such a remarkable job, it's still tough to accept the fact this item of clothing wasn't actually present on set during so many Thor scenes.
