9. Caddyshack/Ghostbusters

Though it never made it into the final film, there was originally supposed to be a scene in Ghostbusters that referenced back to one of Bill Murray's most iconic early roles - as Carl from Caddyshack.

In an earlier cut of the movie, there was to be a scene in which Murray and Dan Aykroyd played bums walking through Central Park debating boxing when Rick Moranis runs past, in his attempt to flee from the demon dog.

Wearing a milk carton neck-brace, Murray uses the same "Carl voice" that was such a defining part of his Caddyshack performance, presumably confirming the groundskeeper had fallen on harder times recently...
