10 More Star Wars Mistakes You Can't Unsee

2. Saw Gerrera's Mask Has A Mind Of Its Own - Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Lando Calrissian's general attire and that Episode IV Stormtrooper's armour weren't the only items of clothing that appeared to noticeably and strangely alter themselves in this galaxy far, far away.

Another costume that inexplicably changed as a scene progressed in a Star Wars feature could be found during the moment Jyn Erso and Saw Gerrera met back up for the first time in years in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The rebel extremist was forced to use a breathing mask after injuring his lungs at some point.

And if you observe that particular addition to his armour as Gerrera wonders whether the two are still friends on Jedha, it soon becomes impossible to miss a rather obvious continuity mistake.

This oxygen mask constantly changes position throughout the pair's back-and-forth without being clearly moved by Saw himself, with it hanging largely over his left side in one shot and being firmly hooked right in the centre of his chest plate in the next.

It can be tough to keep track of such a subtle costume adjustment when shooting multiple different angles and takes of an intense verbal exchange. And on this occasion, the unfortunate failure to keep Saw's mask in a consistent position throughout made it ultimately look like it had a mind of its own!
