10 More Star Wars Moments IMPOSSIBLE To Watch The Same After This

6. Jai Alai Rackets Were Used As Equipment - Episode I - The Phantom Menace

Speaking of everyone's favourite protocol droid, Episode I - The Phantom Menace brought with it the not at all divisive revelation that none other than Anakin Skywalker was actually C-3PO's creator.

There's actually something else knocking around in the scene that introduces a rather bare Threepio, however, which becomes quite the hilarious distraction once you realise what you're looking at.

You see, as little Ani shows off his protocol pal to his future wife Padmé Amidala, a number of tools and pieces of equipment are seen hanging around the droid.

This being Star Wars, though, George Lucas and his art department didn't choose to completely design all the props from scratch - some of them were just real-world items hiding in plain sight.

Joining the likes of the Gillette razor that pops up as a communicator in this very same film, the Skywalker home also has Jai Alai equipment scattered around the place, with a number of the sport's rackets being visible in the background in these scenes (via Reddit).

And for some reason, once you've spotted them, the thought of Lucas and co. taking one look at these plastic cestas (the rackets), hanging them upside down and seemingly thinking "yep, that looks Star Warsy enough," just makes this big reveal a bit more amusing.

At least they didn't go for a tennis racket, eh.
