9. Olaf - Frozen
Frozen's enormous success was incredibly noticeable in the cinematic landscape, and a big take away from it was how much children loved Olaf. It makes sense as he has some great lines and is played charismatically by Josh Gad. But this doesn't stop him from quickly being the most frustrating and annoying character in the film.
The snowman brought to life by Elsa is a persistent presence within the movie, who frequently exists not to further the plot, but to crack jokes and be a source of struggle for the leads. This can work at times, but overall Olaf feels like a baby that needs to be taken care of and this strips away his charm, unless you are entertained by these goofy antics.
The simple truth is that Olaf is also annoying because of how popular he is. Like with Frozen itself, the mainstream attention it garnered was unbelievable, and the many people who struggled to enjoy this character were forced to see him everywhere that they went.
His voice was grating, he was too goofy, and he always detracted from the nature of the scene.
