10 Most Annoying Minor Characters In The MCU

1. Sharon Carter

All the talk about Sharon Carter right now is about how weird it was for Steve Rogers to kiss her, considering he’s now gone back in time to spend his life with Peggy.

Yes, this isn’t her fault and it’s in a different timeline anyway, but it still feels a bit strange. Even without that in consideration though, Sharon always felt like a superfluous character that the movies were forcing a little too much.

Time travel was obviously not something planned in advance, so it made sense in a way for Rogers to move on, or at least for the MCU to offer him a way to do so. However, it was very clear that neither Steve himself nor the audience were ready for him to do so.

That’s without getting into the ick-factor of it being one of Peggy’s relatives. It’s nice he has someone to talk about Peggy with, but couldn’t he and Sharon just have been friends?

Considering they cast a well established name in Emily VanCamp, they would have been better off giving her more screen time as Agent 13, rather than a love interest. Right now, she’s an annoying roadblock on Steve’s road back to Peggy.
