Speaking of big shoes to fill, Suspiria director Luca Guadagnino has much the same problem as Bill Skarsgard.
The filmmaker has taken the reins of a remake of seminal movie from celebrated Italian horror honcho Dario Argento, and expectations are high.
The film is set against the backdrop of a ballet school which serves as a front for a coven of witches and their murderous deeds.
An all-star cast comprising Dakota Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz and Tilda Swinton head up the remake, and Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke provides a haunting score.
The Argento original was lauded for its visual and stylistic flair, use of vibrant colors and its visceral soundtrack. It was also scary... as... s**t.
