Of course, we can't talk about boxing without donning our caps to the most influential boxing series out there. There are many boxing rounds to choose from in the Rocky series. Even Ryan Coogler's Creed starring Michael B. Jordan impresses with an incredible long-take fight that showcases some exquisitely realistic boxing choreography.

The previous Rocky films can seem slightly dated when compared to boxing matches today; blocking punches hasn't entirely been explained to Rocky's rock-hard chin. But what Rocky's fights lack in authenticity, they make up for in emotional impact and tremendous spectacle.

Rocky isn't in great shape going up against Soviet Russia's star Ivan Drago. He's miles from home, fighting in front of a hostile crowd, going against the monstrous Russian who had no scruples killing Apollo Creed previously.

As the fight begins, Rocky is dwarfed by the gigantic Drago, who returns Rocky's ineffective jabs with sledge-hammer strikes of his own. Taking blow after blow, it's only three minutes in the fight where Drago takes any visual damage.

As the match continues, tensions flare as the plucky Philadelphian defiantly hangs on, round after round, as the crowd suddenly cheer Rocky's name. The ten-minute bout comes to a climactic end as both exchange fists of fury, refusing to back down, until Rocky finally gets the upper hand, finishing Drago with a combo of crushing hooks.

Is it realistic? No way. Sensationalist? Definitely. Intoxicatingly inspirational? 100% .
