10 Most Controversial Batman Movie Moments
1. Ben Affleck's Performance - Justice League
After the heavy backlash that DC faced after Batman v. Superman, they decided to do an abrupt course-correction with the sequel that was already mid-way through production.
As a result, audiences got a Justice League film that was a walking Frankenstein-monster of a creation, with scenes and shots sewn together seemingly at random thanks to some extensively jarring reshoots. But the biggest victim of all of this was the character of Batman, and most notably, Affleck himself.
After dealing with all of the fallout of BvS, Affleck is visibly checked-out for the entirety of Justice League. He may have been given poor material in BvS, but he took it all deadly serious when it came to his performance. In Justice League, he constantly looks as though he's just been wheeled out of bed and been and stood up on his mark to deliver his lines.
This only serves to accentuate some of his more terrible lines of dialogue, especially the poor attempts at humor.
Needless to say, this did not garner the same fan appreciation his performance in BvS did and was pretty much hated by all involved. Including Affleck.
