Although not representing a singular entity, and being more focused on a sacrificial nature of bloodshed, theres no denying that The Facility, with a little leeway, is more than at home within this list. Like Behind The Mask before it, this film acts as a deconstructive homage to the horror genre as a whole. Playfully dissecting the tropes and archetypes regularly found within horror films, The Facility has a shed full (and then some) of familiar allusions to horrific movie antagonists to unleash upon its victims. Its not hard to see why a facility literally designed to kill people in accordance to every feasible horror trope has found its way to a top spot on our list of creative murderers. And before you ask, yes - unwilling sacrifice is indeed murder, even if it is for the greater good. Memorable creative murder: A merman fanatic being devoured by a merman.
