6. Batpod Wall Flip - The Dark Knight
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPaTv98wUsE&t=2m35s Like many Batman fans, I was positively having paroxysms during the superb chase sequence between The Joker and Batman, the highlight of which comes when The Joker's gigantic lorry is flipped end on end by Batman. However, there's one misguided, awful shot at its end which I complain about every time I watch the film, and that's when Batman flips the Batpod off the wall. Not only is the shot obviously CGI, but the physics don't even really make much sense, and for a film aiming to be gritty - and for the most part succeeding - it temporarily pulls us completely out of that. Apparently Nolan got the idea for this scene after watching one of his sons playing with a toy, but frankly, it's one of Nolan's few ideas that probably should have stayed on his kid's bedroom floor.
