10 Most Cursed Horror Films To Watch This Halloween 2020

4. Rosemary's Baby

The Conjuring
Paramount Pictures

One of the most claimed cursed movies is 1968's Rosemary's Baby, directed by Roman Polanski, following the chilling tale of a woman desperate to save her unborn child from the grasps of an evil cult, based on the book from 1967.

Many viewers of the film was shocked by the events occurring on screen and it received a combination of backlash from the Catholic Church with its views on Satanism. Unbeknownst to those watching, the even spookier coincidences happened of camera.

In fact, the film's producer William Castle swears that the film and the set were cursed. Not long after its release, Castle was hospitalised with life threatening kidney stones and even hallucinated the film's antagonist standing in his hospital room with a knife about to murder him. Most chillingly, the following year saw the producer's own wife fall victim to the Manson family murders and suffer her own death.

Beatles star John Lennon also fell victim to the Rosemary's Baby curse, after being murdered outside the original set of the movie itself. Just months after finishing, the film's composer also passed away after falling off a cliff, mirroring the death of Rosemary's friend in the movie.

Polanski himself actually fled the country after the film's release, after a variety of underage girl's assault claims came to light.
